This Kid’s Beginner sewing class is for ages 7-11. We will learn different kinds of stitches such as a straight stitch, back stitch. chain stitch,  blanket stitch, etc . We will be doing hand sewing, embroidery projects, cross stitching and candle wicking. Our projects will include, felt animals, embroidery protects, hand sewing a pillow, a scrunchie,  drawstring tote bag and more!

This two-hour class will be filled with instruction and activities. This class will be designed around the needs of the students and what concepts that need more attention. Learners will experience fun activities, utilize manipulatives, and engage in learning that requires critical thinking. We will represent and solve problems involving addition and subtraction, focus on understanding place value, measure and estimate lengths in standard units. We will also work with time, money, data, and attributes of shapes.

$175 per month, September through May.** You will receive an invoice from October through May for $175 per month to participate in this class. One registration per learner is required to register for this class. 

Hola, amigos! This class is to help children learn the Spanish language through fun, hands-on activities, interaction and speech! There are no boring conjugations of verbs here. Mrs. Rodriguez will guide our learners though the seasons with extensive vocabulary, phrasing and speech patterns. Hasta Septiembre!

 All reading levels are welcome to join us as we explore historical times and influential figures through reading and interactive activities.  We will include well known historical figures and times as well as those who are more of a mystery to us. Every class will have a reading/listening time followed by a hands-on activity relating to the reading.

**$125 per month, September through May.** You will receive an invoice from October through May for $125 per month to participate in this class. One registration fee per learner is required to register for this or any class.

Hands on interactive fun learning about the best of science.  This class will require kids to get their hands on everything and 'play' with science and actually test what happens - we all know baking soda and vinegar is fun, but what about other acids and bases?  Knowing light is a wave is one thing, playing around with how to put on a show by refracting, or focusing light is way more fun. Learners will need a snack and water bottle.

Your child will be introduced to the core concepts of executive function. These lessons include how to:

Follow directions and gain awareness of expected behaviors

Set goals and stay on task

Manage time and learn how to keep organized

Learn how to break assignments into smaller parts

Think flexibly and build a growth mindset

Focus and strengthen working memory

Learn how to cope with strong emotions

Monitor their own progress and develop self-reflection skills

Strengthening these skills will ensure better outcomes for your child both in and out of the classroom.

Through our program, your elementary student will develop self-understanding to know which strategies work best as they complete their schoolwork. They will learn to work through challenges independently and reduce stress and anxiety when they feel stuck.

Learners will experience fun activities, utilize manipulatives, and engage in learning that requires critical thinking. We will be focusing on counting to 100, counting by 10s, addition, etc. We will also be looking at different Geometry concepts, like shapes and angles.
