Calendar Sep 5, 2023 at 9 am

**$175 per month, September through May.** You will receive an invoice from October through May for $175 per month to participate in this class. One registration fee per learner is required to register for this or any class.

We will start from the basics, students will learn everyday conversations, reinforcing what they already know (numbers and colors, shapes and animals). This class varies and adjusts according to the age, level and way of learning of each student. Español like any other second language is about repeating, following the way that a language should be taught with plenty of patience and enthusiasm, always trying to make it fun by singing, playing, acting, I also incorporate images, videos, audios, stories, drawing and coloring, whatever it takes to achieve a correct and kind learning process.

With 90% of science and technology being derived from Latin (and about 50% of everyday words), learning the basics can help all students increase vocabulary and enjoy sleuthing out long words. This class is full of games, stories and practice for non-stop fun. Poetry is a beautiful art form meant to be experienced- preferably with a warm cup of tea and a snack. Returning students will enjoy sharing our favorites from the 22/23 book of collected poems, while new and old students will help us create a 23/24 book of favorites. Learners will need a lunch and water bottle.

This class will have a very interesting mix of Spanish and Art, we will learn about colors, shapes, lines, patterns and different types of mediums while learning Spanish, also we will focus on art history learning about the most famous Spanish artists and their influence around the world. This class will help everyone with motor skills, enhancing their creativity to the fullest, this will be a very sensory hands-on class and we probably get messy sometimes but it will be totally worth it. Viva el arte!
