With 90% of science and technology being derived from Latin (and about 50% of everyday words), learning the basics can help all students increase vocabulary and enjoy sleuthing out long words. This class is full of games, stories and practice for non-stop fun. Poetry is a beautiful art form meant to be experienced- preferably with a warm cup of tea and a snack. Returning students will enjoy sharing our favorites from the 22/23 book of collected poems, while new and old students will help us create a 23/24 book of favorites.
